About the Author

The author: Norman Mailer (1923-2007) was one of the 20th century's greatest and most influential writers, as well as one of America's most renowned and controversial literary figures. I never did care much for the mailer's written bio; I loved the photos (by various photographers) from the first edition. I was always captivated by the Stern photos. Now this edition has been updated so that it's only stern photos. The photos are full page photos both in black and white and color nicely reproduced. Many of the fashion shots that you don't always see, and some colors as well. The size of the book is huge!!! much larger (and heavier) than the original edition. It it really a photo book printed on heavy paper (the photos will appear to be matte rather than glossy finish). It's true you can get all his photos in the complete last sitting (expensive) but some of these photos were small photos. It's also true many have been published in magazines, but do you want to have abut 50 magazines to look thru (and think of the thinness of the paper)? At a substantial discount on Amazon I was very happy to have this edition along with the original edition. As I said, it's for the photos!!!!

This is another great tribute to the late, great Marilyn Monroe. It captures her ethereal beauty w/ pictures seldom seen. A Hollywood icon we shall never forget who's life was cut far short.

This book should be a part of any Marilyn Monroe fan's collection. The pictures are breathtaking and the accounts from the photography are very interesting. You have to have this in your Marilyn collection!

The beauty of this book is the Stern photos and quotes by Marilyn. I've never been a Mailer fan and his rambling here does nothing to win me over. Stern's photos featured in the book have been published in other formats like the German Mag "Fotografie" No. 49. Explore other publications and compare before you make a purchase.

Have many books about her but this one is still one of the best, great writing and great pictures too

The original is amazing, but this version had a lot of great photos as well

“How do I say goodbyeeeee.” I’m going to miss Falcon and Troi but I loved how their story ended, even with all the messed up things that were going on. I’m extremely haply that all their enemies got dealt with and I swear I wasn’t expecting Em to do what she did, I mean not like how she did. I was happy about how things went for little Fabian too, they didn’t have to do that but they did and I just loved it. I wish I could give this book more than five stars.

This has been one hell of a ride, to an unbelievable love story that I must say I did not want to end .where oh where can I find my Faclon . The storyline was so refreshing it was a pleasure to read, the drama and action was non stop and lead us straight to our happy ending.Love The father and son looking forward to reading more about the parents and how they got to where they are in their relationship and hopefully we and read more about my new book bae. Outstanding job author.

This series was one of my favorites. It kept you in a rollercoaster ride for book one. I just Love The way Troi and Falcon loved each other. He took in her sister like it was nothing.His parents would do anything for him and the family.Keep on writing Syrphanie!

Falcon was the man through out this book. Troi was on some snake s#^t in the beginning, but Ivan Sr was on some deadly s#^t too. Dacia was bitter because Falcon wasn't in love with her but what did expect when you sexing his boy. Falcon did care for Dacia but she just got to face it the better woman won. Troi was a hustler and Dacia was riding on Falcon coat tails. The same thing with Vita and Em. Em thought she came up real quick by Ronnie gone she hooked with Faine real quick but when s#^t got real she disappeared with the quickness. They all got what they deserved. Derek dad was an a$$hole. Back story of Falcons parents

This series is so 🔥🔥🔥🔥. All my babies went through a lot but I'm glad they came out on top. It seemed like falcon old friends from the past had to come back and do some dirt in the end that put them in the ground. Now Derek farther Ivan got what he deserved, had all that hate for tori and he met his demise at the end. I enjoyed reading another one of ur books and I'm looking forward to reading more of them

I wasn't sure what to expect because I thought the first book was a standalone. Since Falcon was dead I just didn't see what Troi would be up to. The love Falcon and Troi shared made the book for me. There were so many enemies and secrets exposed. This was a very good read.

A great ending to a good read. The drama, continued and got better and better. Crazy twist and turns, secrets,and more. Happy ending and a wedding.

So glad everything and everyone Came full circle..
