Jack of all trades, master of none. Still, it's a worthwhile peek into the effects of lighting and composition of glamour (erotic) photography. Almost all of us have seen *good* erotic photography; it's a matter of taste, but technique is a prerequisite. More importantly though, most of us have seen when lighting has gone wrong, or the model was haphazardly thrown into a scene to be photographed. The first half of this book is discussion and examples of what works, and what doesn't work, with this kind of photography. Surprisingly good! After that...tons of examples of glamour photography demonstrating different kinds of clothes and accessories on a wide variety of models in various stages of undressed (to Playboy-style pin-ups). It's *not* erotica in and of itself, but it provides many examples for the readily enthused, and enough of a technical beginning to whet an aspiring photographer's appetite.
A great book to help you get started in glamour photography! Who doesn't want to take better photos of their models? This book provides a great place to start or help you improve your glamour photos. Simon's photos and practical ideas will leave you inspired! Thanks Simon!
