I use this book as a textbook for my college class that I teach on Artist Management. It is excellent. The author has done a good job updating it. My only complaint is that more space should be devoted to functioning in the "indie" world, which is where most artists spend their time. Many indies will never have the issue of having a manager who ALSO has a business manager. If you reach that level, then you're doing better than 99.9% of artists in the world. Most artists just want to get paid after a gig. So, I feel like each chapter should have a section for "major label world" and "indie world". Other than that, the book is comprehensive and accurate. It is an excellent authoritative source from which to teach.

I had a friend last year who was breaking into the music business and needed help. I had prior education in music industry, but as time went on...I needed information. She stated that she was going to need a manager and wanted me. Having never managed an artist before, I started studying. I ordered several books including this one to update and expand my knowledge.It's great! This book has the basis of everything a person breaking into artist management would need to get started. It has chapters on contracts, promotion, networking, and other things you really should know. I learned a lot. It also has sample contracts in the back that could be used as templates.I highly recommend it for anyone looking to work in any aspect of the industry. The friendship was a casualty to personal issues, but this book will remain in my library for future use.

Anyone studying this business would do well to begin their focused education here, if only to establish a working vocabulary for the industry. The end of each chapter provides an extensive list of resources for continued reading as well. While I enjoyed both the book and the audio, the overall book seemed less developed than the past three on Kolt Raynor. In some ways the action was non-stop but at the same time, there were sequences which could have added to the story that were glossed over. For instance, it was never explained how the North Korean that Kolt was sent to rescue had as much specific information about the nukes and missile sites. In a country where secrecy and paranoia are practically a religion, this would have helped create additional depth. The two themes concerning Hawk and the combining of the unit with ST6 were sometimes covered well and at others sketchy. However, I did enjoy the book and hope his next is better written.

As long as we waited for this book to come out it seems poorly written. A couple more scrubs through the editor may have made some incoherent parts better.The story, really a very short plot. Almost played out like a bad action movie. Suit case nukes threaten the pacific fleet and kolt raynor, the squadron commander has to get the guy who may know something about them. Just seemed thin and less developed than past books. The real action in this book was glossed over. Could there not have been a hundred more pages on the SEALS, or the extraction or the actual resolve of the over arching plot? Nah, 4Pages here and there about one characters unimportant thoughts. Hope for a better plot next time

Great book! This series continues with Racer doing his own thing again this time trying to rescue a North Korean who has information on nukes that have targeted on our ships and West coast. I'm happy to see Hawk, Slap and Digger back on this adventure. There is so much action and different scenes taking place that to describe them all would take too much time, I highly recommend you read these books in order to get a feel for all the characters.

As usual this is another excellent book. In an effort to help improve the series I would like to focus on two issues that drive me nuts. The first is the one needles dialog and sometimes repetitive detail about what some one is wearing or seeing. The only benefit is I get to skip pages.The other thing is the poor editing for timeline. As one example the Korean with the teletype. The description of having to dust it off not having been used in years when in fact it was the third message sent from that machine in a sort time. Someone wasn't doing there job. This happens other times in the book. It's like someone won't take the time for a final read to insure flow. A similar timeline issue on the chopper.

Fury certainly knows how to spin a tale. His books are nearly nonstop action. However, that being said, Dalton forgets who his audience is.I'm a 20 year military vet, and even i can't understand huge portions of the book. Dalton seems to assume that his readers consist of Seals or Delta. He uses language that only they would understand, with absolutely no explanation given to the average reader.Dalton, if you truly want to be a successful author, LEARN and understand who your readers are.

Dalton Fury [nom de plume] delivers again a fast paced powerful story that is both hard to put down but rather uncomfortable in that it portrays a world that the mass media chooses to ignore.It makes one appreciate the tier one men and women who are fighting for us in the shadows.I found it left me as always in admiration of our warriors and disgusted with our politicos in and out of the military who seek only to advance their careers. Be in no doubt this is a true action novel with I presume more truth than fiction.

Like everything else he writes... personally I'd give it a 4.5 because it's not as good as the first three but still great. It's sad he passed away. I hope he has a friend who can take over who is just as creative who can write just as good as him.R.I.P. Dalton Fury

First I could read one page a week))) now I can easily read about 50 pages or more per day, please note that two years ago I knew no more than 100 words in English. In the meantime, my writing skills are close to zero, and I firmly decided to develop them to some level of landed level. I have long been looking for a book with practical advice that does not bear an official tone, it is easy to read and turn over in a good sense the perception and atmosphere of learning. I barely stopped after reading this book to write this sincere response immediately. Many thanks to the author. I apologize for the grammar, I wrote through an interpreter from Russian. I unequivocally recommend this book!

About the Author

Rich Snyder, DO, holds a medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Okay so I can't even begin to describe how much I love this book. I am someone who typically does not read thriller type books but "Killing November" has changed my mind. I was able to participate in the ARC of this beautiful novel and now find myself so sad I must wait for the next installment. The character development, the plot, the twists, and the romance make this a must read. I found myself thinking about the story and where it goes from here. I would recommend this book to anyone and everyone!!

Such an amazing book. I love everything from Adriana Mather and did not think i could love a book more than her HTHAW, but this book has it beat. Adriana went to great books to absolutely outdoing herself with a fantastic book. I cant wait to read more and really hope there will be another book.

Loved Adriana Mather's new book Killing November! if you've read any of Mather's previous books you know to expect a great mystery and fun, dynamic characters. In this story the main character November gets kidnapped and sent to an ancient school basically ran by a secret society. With November's world gone "Kansas bye-bye" she has to figure out not only how to fit in with the new crowd of dangerous kids, but also how to not get murdered by one of them - what can one say - that's the life of a teenager nowadays!

5 hours and 17 minutes.... what a short time to be in the world of Academy Absconditi, I was lucky enough to be part of the ARC for this book and what a great adventure ! I was drawn in within the first chapter, November is a great character and I am so in love with Ash, no matter what ! As with her other books, Adriana Mather was able to create characters so relatable and believable they were like old friends. I find myself wondering who I would be in the Academy and what alliances I would form, I can’t wait for book 2 so I can catch up with November and friends.

WOW! This book was something else. Adriana Mather really blew me away once again. I absolutely loved "How to Hang A Witch" and "Haunting The Deep", they were two books in a series about Samantha Mather and I 100% recommend reading those if you haven't already!! But "Killing November" gave me a totally new feeling while reading it, it was suspenseful and captivating while still keeping the elements of teenage life, family, and extraordinary storytelling by Adriana. It's every boy and girl's dream, perfect for all readers young and old. Each page keeps you on the edge of your seat wanting more.I loved getting to know the character Ash, he's such an interesting character and I absolutely fell in love with him right away!The main character November goes to an international academy that's far from the norm, and she has to find out how she fits into it all and why she's there. If you like drama, mystery and murder, this is the perfect book for you, and a little flirting and romance doesn't hurt either! November faces a constant struggle trying to figure out who's good and who's bad, and it's becoming life or death.Adriana focuses on really letting her readers get to know the main character November in this book and in my opinion, I feel like we really do know her. I feel like I can relate to her as a reader, and that's what makes a book great. This is a book that you just want to read over and over again, and never put down! I definitely recommend this book to anyone.

First, I would like to express how honored I am to have been a part of Adriana Mather’s ARC tour for her book Killing November.This book was extremely hard to put down. November finds herself in what can only be described as a leadership war she had no idea existed or that she knew she was a part of. She thought her father was sending her away for her own protection but found herself right in the middle of it all. She is brought to the International Academy Absconditi and is in even more danger that she ever thought she would be. This book is filled with danger and adventure, espionage and strategy, alliances and opposition, and most of all kinship. I already can’t wait for the second book.

The moment I started reading this book I didn't want to put it down! Adriana Mather is by far one of my favorite authors, and produces consistently great books. Killing November is full of action and there's never a dull moment. Its well written and you can tell she worked really hard to get all the details correct! I can't wait to read it again!

I loved this book!!!!!!!! I could not put it down. Had it not been for work I would have finished it in like a day. Lol but I love her other two books how to hang a witch and haunting the deep. So I already knew I would love it. The book just sucks you in and you won’t want to put it down. I highly recommend this book and her other two as well.
